Born and raised in Idaho, Pamela has lived in Idaho all her life except for a short period of about a year and a half where she lived in Louisiana. She is a lifetime painter whose love of watercolors and acrylics started in the year 2000 and has grown into a full time occupation.
In 2002, after graduating from Boise State University, Pamela and her husband sold their home of 20 years in Boise, Idaho, and bought a new house in Caldwell, Idaho with a sun room attached to the back which she has devoted exclusively to a Studio and business office. Her art education was obtained while attending Boise State University and receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree, as well as many books over many years, and thousands of hours spent at drawing and painting. With several paintings in various collections world wide, she strives to have a great variety in her choice of subjects. It might be a landscape or seascape, an old wood fence, a portrait, an animal, or simply a simple flower; but whatever the subject, the main interest is always in 1) design, and 2) value & color.
Although she has attended many formal art education classes since high school, she started her art education very early in life by drawing her favorite teen idols and making everything from string art to collages. She came up with the name Arts4You while in her last year of college back in 2001, and started selling her art on eBay under that name. Her dream was to open an on-line store by that name, which she finally did, five years later.
